JOC Regional Construction Manager
(Dallas/Fort Worth)
HAYS is hiring a JOC Regional Construction Manager for a well-established builder specializing in Job Order Contracting (JOC) work across Texas. The JOC Regional Construction Manager will oversee the execution of JOC projects across Dallas/Fort Worth. This JOC Regional Manager plays a key role in contributing to the company’s growth and profitability in North Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in construction management and a deep understanding of the JOC process are crucial for this role.
- Must have previous JOC experience and K-12 project experience.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and government officials within the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal regulations, and manage financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting and contract negotiation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Monitoring branch performance and reporting on metrics.
- Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives
- Ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, maintaining consistency and adherence to JOC policies
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers
- Planning and evaluating operations to be cost-effective.
- Preparing quarterly and yearly reports, analyses, statements and reports on finances and operations
- Developing project plans and assigning regional project personnel
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience with Job Order Contracting (JOC) is required. Significant experience in a JOC managerial role, responsible for the oversight of K12 projects is a MUST.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Certifications such (CJP) and Assoc CJP are preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to develop and implement business strategies, manage budgets, and oversee operations is also important.
- Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of the business they represent in the market is crucial1. They should also have a deep understanding of the JOC process.
- Background Check and Drug Screen: Clean background required.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
