We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of IT systems and solutions for our organization. The IT Solutions Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, assess existing systems, and propose scalable and robust IT architectures. This role requires expertise in infrastructure design, cloud computing, software development methodologies, and a deep understanding of enterprise IT environments.
Roles And Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of IT systems and solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and IT teams, to define and prioritize IT initiatives.
Assess current IT infrastructure and applications to identify areas for improvement, modernization, or integration.
Develop architectural blueprints and roadmaps for IT systems, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
Design and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Define integration strategies for disparate systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams during implementation and deployment phases.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and best practices.
Conduct proof-of-concept projects to validate architectural decisions and evaluate feasibility of proposed solutions.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements in all architectural designs.
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience (X years) as an IT Solutions Architect or similar role, designing and implementing complex IT systems.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
Experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a focus on scalability and cost optimization.
Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and IT governance practices.
Expertise in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Solid understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices in IT architecture.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
