  • In Office (San Mateo, CA). This role requires in office work 4-5 days/week.


The Role

GoPro is looking for a Rockstar IT Executive Support Specialist that has the perfect balance of customer service and technical troubleshooting skills. This person will be joining our IT Support team and ensuring all technical needs of our Executive level staff members and their Admins are met, both onsite and remotely.

As a member of the global GoPro Help Desk you will also be expected to support non-executive staff. You will have the opportunity to drive IT projects and enhance the experience for staff through improvements in services.

What You Will Do


  • Provide end user concierge-style support for any technical issue, including but not limited to: computers, mobile devices, network, and applications.
  • Maintain poise in stressful situations; maintain a professional demeanor under all circumstances.
  • Provide immediate support for onsite/offsite meetings and sponsored events.
  • Liaise and collaborate with IT Engineering and Operations teams regarding solutions for executives, new technology enhancements, and anything requiring immediate demand by senior team.
  • Resolve technical issues quickly and effectively with little impact, employing proactive measures whenever possible.
  • Some travel through the year may be required.


Skills We’re Excited About


  • Excellent knowledge of: Windows OS, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Software knowledge - MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, Safari, Chrome, Zoom, Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk and Active Directory.
  • Top-notch troubleshooting skills in all the above areas.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills on multiple levels.
  • This job requires clear and concise communication in all directions!
  • Available for on-call support. This includes nights and weekends, when needed.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

  • Knowledge of Linux distro.
  • Understanding of Agile Methodology for projects initiatives.
  • Basic understanding of networking topologies and protocols, a bonus!

The pay range for this role is between $74,800 - $101,200. Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your residence location and prior work experience. Equity, benefits, and a discretionary bonus may be additional forms of compensation for this role and are not included in the provided pay range.
