The Lazard Investment Solutions group is a team of specialists focused on understanding client needs and translating investment problems into solutions. We design, package, and manage bespoke solutions for our clients by leveraging proprietary technology and drawing on the full depth and breadth of Lazard’s world renown investment platforms. We offer specialized advice and customized portfolios within 3 categories: Multi-Asset, Single Asset Class, and Targeted Single Theme portfolios.

We’ll trust you to:

• Assist in the daily management and monitoring of Solutions team portfolios, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and risk parameters
• Produce written commentaries relating to client portfolios and mutual funds, consisting of performance updates, portfolio positioning and market outlooks
• Develop a deep understanding of Solutions Team product offerings and client-specific mandates
• Help develop hypothetical portfolios for prospects, and prepare presentations and communication materials to explain proposed portfolios and results
• Prepare recurring and time sensitive reporting deliverables, customized data requests, and presentation content for clients
• Coordinate closely with internal teams on investment solutions proposals, operational requirements and key deliverables
• Assist with marketing messaging for the Solutions team broadly, as well as for specific strategies, such as EM Equity Blend, EM High Conviction, Real Assets, various thematic strategies, etc.
• Maintain asset allocation models and liaise with portfolio implementation on asset allocation changes
• Conduct research on internal (Lazard strategies) and external (ETF’s) investment opportunities
  
  

You’ll need to have:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in a quantitative, analytical role within Financial Services (Investment Management preferred)
• Clear, succinct, and highly professional communications skills regardless of medium or audience
• Advanced fluency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Data wrangling and scripting programming experience using Python, SQL, VBA strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Strong organization skills with ability to manage and prioritize multiple time sensitive tasks
• Active interest in and passion for Investing and Financial Markets
• A can-do attitude, sound judgment, and self-motivation

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $80,000 – $100,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
