Interventional Radiography Specialist

Position Summary

As a Cath Lab/IR Tech based in Omaha, Nebraska, you will be responsible for utilizing departmental resources to perform diagnostic and therapeutic exams with precision and efficiency, ensuring the highest quality of patient care while adhering to safety standards. Your role will involve meeting the cultural and age-related needs of the patient population served.

Position Requirements

• Degree from an accredited school of allied health/cardiovascular technology.
• Minimum one year of experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, show initiative, and adapt to changing situations.
• Proficiency in dealing with patients of all age groups in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA sterile technique standards.
• Proficiency with personal computers.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a scrub assistant and operator of imaging equipment in Cath/EP lab.
• Experience in patient monitoring and procedure documentation in Cath/EP lab or a high-volume angiography department.
• Previous experience in a diagnostic radiology department.
• Certification by the ARRT in cardiovascular interventional technology.
• Familiarity with various technical equipment and medical supplies.
• Proficiency with invasive ultrasound, non-invasive ultrasound, and peripheral doppler procedures.
• Knowledge of physiology monitors and typical office equipment.
