Responsibilities

Typical Day in the Life

As an Internal Audit Senior Manager in our Risk Advisory Services practice, a typical day may include:

  • Supervising the internal audit department, setting engagement timelines, goals, and expectations.
  • Overseeing multiple teams conducting internal audit compliance procedures.
  • Mentoring and developing internal audit staff.
  • Leading consulting and compliance projects for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Building relationships and attracting new business opportunities.
  • Participating in training seminars, professional development, and industry events.
  • Providing timely and accurate project performance.
  • Actively contributing to the development of the Risk Advisory Services practice.
  • Leveraging personal and professional experiences to enhance business and practice lines.
  • Mentoring and providing technical training for staff.
  • Managing client billing for risk-based services.
  • Developing business within targeted industries and markets.
  • Collaborating with business development, marketing, and industry leaders to drive growth.
  • Engaging in community organizations and industry functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Qualifications

Who You Are

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Possess relevant certifications (Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, etc.) preferred.
  • Have 10+ years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in relevant professional practices and standards.
  • Serve as an experienced industry advisor, leveraging expertise to mentor others.
  • Excel in networking and business development.
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Uphold high professional standards and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Benefits And Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $185,000. In addition to base salary, Eide Bailly offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
