Sigmatech is seeking enthusiastic, well-qualified, and motivated IT Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of information technology, allowing you to develop practical skills in a real-world environment. As an IT Intern, you will work closely with our IT department to support day-to-day operations and assist with IT projects. This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to network administration, technical support, software/hardware troubleshooting, and IT project management.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Assist in the setup and deployment of new computer equipment and software applications.
Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
Document technical procedures and create user guides for IT systems.
Collaborate with IT team members on various projects and initiatives.
Perform routine IT tasks, such as system backups, updates, and inventory management.
Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues promptly.
Support IT security measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Experience
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking principles.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
Proactive and detail-oriented with a passion for technology.
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this intern role is $20.00 per hour, no more than 32 hours per week; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.
