Hartford, CT so they need to be on-site once a week there. They are going through a Switch/Roll out for the next 6-12 Months and need a Senior Network Engineer who is familiar with Automation (Python preferred) and Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP).

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
Familiarity with Arista switches and Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP).
Automation skills, especially in Python, are highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in healthcare or similar environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
Discovery and Documentation:
Conduct thorough discovery of the existing network infrastructure.
Document network configurations, topologies, and device details.
Planning and Design Assistance:
Collaborate with the team in planning and designing network improvements.
Provide expertise in recommending enhancements to optimize network performance.
Next-Day Support:
Offer next-day support assistance for all network cutovers and migrations.
Address and resolve any issues arising post-cutover promptly.
Project-Related Troubleshooting:
Investigate and troubleshoot network-related issues during project implementations.
Ensure swift resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Switch and CVP Configuration:
Assist in the configuration of switches, particularly Arista switches.
Utilize expertise in Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP) for efficient network management.
Limited IDF Migration Support:
Provide limited support for IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) migrations.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth migration processes.
Swing Switch Installations:
Assist in the installation and configuration of swing switches.
Ensure that swing switches are operational and seamlessly integrated into the network.
Identification of Critical Devices:
Identify critical devices that need to be moved before migrations.
Develop strategies to minimize the impact on critical network elements.
Arista Switch Configuration:
Configure Arista switches based on project requirements.
Optimize switch configurations for performance and security.
Defining Tagged Ethernet Ports:
Define and configure Ethernet ports requiring tagging.
Ensure proper VLAN configurations as needed for network segmentation.
