Human Resources - Sr. Onboarding Specialist

We are currently hiring a Human Resources - Sr. Onboarding Specialist to work in a hybrid capacity in our Westerville headquarters. The selected individual will have significant experience with high volume onboarding and possess a range of experience with human resources activities.


Outcomes Desired for this Role:

  • Accurate consultant onboarding including client specific compliance, E-Verify, background screens, etc.
  • Entry of payroll data, complying with payroll laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Benefits administration and support the development of company benefit programs.
  • Support internal hiring, including creating job postings, outreach, interviewing & screening.
  • Assist with the new client onboarding process including reviewing contracts, updating guidelines and documents.
  • Provide accurate documentation and information for client audits and annual reports.
  • Support internal employee and consultant relations as needed.
  • Support organizational compliance with federal and state regulations.


Previous Experience:

  • 5+ years of varied human resources experience including 3+ years of high-volume onboarding experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently and successfully manage tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Experience completing detailed tasks quickly, and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Previous experience entering new hire payroll information, including an understanding of state and local taxes.
  • Enjoys working in a growing mid-size business and wearing many hats within the HR function to support the overall growth of the business.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, and possesses a team first mentality.
  • Skilled in U.S. labor and employment laws. Any knowledge of Canadian labor and employment laws is a plus but not required.
  • Degree with a focus in human resource or human resource related certifications are desired but not required.
  • Previous experience working in human resources at a consulting or staffing business preferred but not required.
