We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry located in Long Beach, California. The role involves providing critical support to our human resources department, executing various administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and arranging interviews.
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes, which includes preparing paperwork and facilitating training sessions.
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Process payroll and assist with benefits administration tasks.
Assist in organizing employee events, meetings, and training sessions.
Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
Assist in maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Utilize skills such as Human Resources (HR) Administration, Benefits Administration, Recruiting, and Payroll in day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Prior experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is essential
Knowledge of Benefits Administration is required
Proven track record in Recruiting is desired
Experience in Payroll management is a must
Familiarity with Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is beneficial
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in HR-related software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is advantageous.
