Overview:

The HR Administrative Assistant will collaborate with the HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the human resources office and ensure the effective administration of human resources policies, programs, protocols, and procedures. This role plays a vital part in supporting HR operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing assistance in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding HR standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the organization
  • Provide primary support for employee relations and compliance issues, serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Act as a change leader in support of organizational initiatives, fostering a positive and adaptable work environment
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of HR functions and processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions
  • Review and respond to general inquiries from unemployment agencies, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Conduct quarterly audits of external personnel files to maintain data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and other training programs as needed, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires
  • Oversee the Benefits Enrollment process, including eligibility dates, qualifying events, and open enrollment periods

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s Degree in business, business administration, or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of experience in administrative roles or as a benefits administrator, preferably in a human resources setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Familiarity with new personnel onboarding and current personnel termination processes.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions.

Demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
