At Stedi, we’re rebuilding the technological backbone of the B2B economy. Trillions of dollars flow annually through a global network of commerce via an archaic protocol called Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), but there hasn’t been a major new EDI platform in decades.

In the healthcare sector, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) requires that all insurance carriers exchange transactions such as claims, eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and enrollments using a standardized EDI format called X12 HIPAA. A small group of legacy clearinghouses process the majority of these transactions, offering consolidated connectivity to carriers and providers.

Stedi is building the world’s only API-first clearinghouse. By offering modern API interfaces alongside traditional real-time and batch EDI processes, we enable both healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions.

What We’re Looking For

Stedi is hiring a Head of Sales to drive our growth in the healthcare space and scale our Sales team. We’re looking for an exceptional leader motivated by complex challenges and building meaningful relationships with prospective customers.

As the Head of Sales, you’ll capitalize on the momentum we’ve built within the digital health space as well as design our plan to chase new opportunities within the traditional payer and provider segments. You’ll make critical hires and iterate thoughtfully on our go-to-market strategy as we continue to scale rapidly.

What You'll Do

  • Quickly understand Stedi’s offerings and identify new pockets in the market to build relationships with customers and generate revenue
  • Act as an individual contributor and manager to uplevel our sales function and build out the team
  • Develop and contribute to key quarterly and annual goals
  • Drive operational excellence in processes and tooling as we continue to scale
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Operations, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment as we implement robust growth strategies and close new customers.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of relevant go-to-market experience, in both strategic and quota-carrying roles
  • Track record of exceeding quotas and selling highly technical products to enterprise-level customers
  • Expert in the healthcare and health tech space, and experienced in selling to technical stakeholders within provider and/or payer organizations
  • Deeply knowledgeable in the complexities of revenue cycle management
  • Low-ego, highly analytical, incredibly organized, and self-motivating
  • Philosophical alignment with the Stedi Standards.
