Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sensor technology for infrared cameras, LIDAR, and/or Lasers. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems for our next-generation products, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Utilize expertise in sensor technology, camera and optical systems, LIDAR, and laser technology to innovate and improve product designs.
  • Manage wafer, die and system testing.
  • Electronic design automation, including schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
  • Participate in all phases of product development, from concept to production, including troubleshooting and resolving any hardware issues.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and testing of hardware designs to ensure reliability, efficiency, and durability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware technology and incorporate new techniques and tools into the design process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer with a focus on sensor technology, camera and optical systems, lidar, and/or laser technology.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Up-to-date with the latest advancements in hardware technology.
  • Highly motivated, with a passion for technology and a drive to continuously improve and innovate.
