Graphics Software Engineer V

Location: Redmond (onsite preferred, remote ok)
Duration: 12 months with Possible Extension

Description:
As a Graphics Software Engineer, you will prototype new AR/VR rendering systems and algorithms today to create the immersive computing experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities
Prototype and develop Client real-time rendering techniques and algorithms for AR/VR products and displays
Research ways to make state-of-the-art real-time rendering techniques run on AR/VR hardware
Contribute to and maintain a rapid iteration graphics prototyping platform
Write high-quality, performant and maintainable code
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovation into AR/VR hardware

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of graphics software engineering experience writing shaders and C/C++
Experience with low level performance profiling and optimization
Strong knowledge of linear algebra and physically based rendering

Preferred Qualifications
Experience shipping AAA Games working on graphics features and subsystems
Experience with VR rendering and/or OpenXR
Experience with character/skin/hair rendering
Experience with mobile graphics architecture and tile-based rendering
Experience with DCC tools such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, 3Ds Max
Experience with Open 3D Engine (O3DE)

Good to have skills:
Shipped at least 1 game working on graphics features and subsystems
Experience with VR rendering and/or OpenXR
Experience with character/skin/hair rendering
