Primary Purpose Of Organizational Unit

Student Conduct is responsible for overseeing and advising the Honor System and adjudicating violations that fall within the purview of the University’s alcohol policy. We oversee the administration of the student conduct process.

Position Summary

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

This Position Reports To The Director Of Student Conduct Within Student Affairs And Is a Team Member Of Student Conduct. This Position Opportunities Could Include

  • Policy language
  • Learning how to read university policy
  • Updating university policy
  • Assisting in updating university policy in office database and university website

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Must be enrolled in a graduate program, or equivalent in Higher Education.

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
