Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Global Supply Chain Manager based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area, with remote work on Fridays. As a Global Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the supply chain, procurement, supplier management, inventory management, and managing two direct reports. Additionally, you will analyze data, develop strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze quotes and proposals for internal and external stakeholders
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for goods for resale B2B
Conduct supplier vetting and selection processes to ensure quality, compliance, sustainability and cost-effectiveness
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
Coordinate and monitor demand planning and forecasting activities to optimize inventory levels and avoid stock-outs
Generate and maintain accurate and timely reports on supply chain performance, costs, risks and opportunities
Establish and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain management
Manage complex bids and projects involving multiple suppliers, products, regions and deadlines
Provide project management support and guidance to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Support sales staff with product information, availability, pricing and logistics
Manage a direct report and provide coaching, feedback and development opportunities

Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are a plus
Minimum of five years experience in international supply chain
