Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled GenAI Specialist with expertise in model fine-tuning and a solid understanding of the Life Sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging foundation models to develop customized solutions for specific use cases, working on Proofs of Concept (POCs), and conducting architectural validations. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage Foundation Models for Fine-Tuning:
• Utilize and fine-tune existing foundation models to meet the requirements of specific use cases within the Life Sciences industry.
• Apply state-of-the-art techniques to optimize model performance and ensure robust, scalable solutions.
• Life Sciences Industry Expertise:
• Apply knowledge of the Life Sciences industry to understand and address domain-specific challenges.
• Collaborate with industry experts to ensure models are aligned with industry standards and regulations.
• Proof of Concept (POC) Development:
• Lead the development and execution of POCs to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
• Present POC results and provide recommendations for next steps.
• Architectural Validation:
• Work towards validating the architectural design of AI solutions to ensure they meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into existing systems.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and industry experts to drive project success.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Proven experience in fine-tuning foundation models for specific applications.
• Previous work experience in the Life Sciences industry or related fields.
• Experience in developing and presenting POCs.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
