Job Overview - Financial Reporting Analyst:
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Financial Reporting Analyst to join their expanding finance team. This hybrid role involves preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements, management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting packages.
Location: Montgomery County, PA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Analyst:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Support the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and presentations for management and the parent company.
- Metrics and Expenses: Compile, analyze, and publish financial metrics and corporate expenses.
- Overhead Analysis: Conduct monthly analysis of key global department overheads compared to budget and forecast.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Generate rolling 12-month forecasts, assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, including variance analysis.
- Capex Expenditure: Collate monthly global capex expenditure and provide forecasts to stakeholders.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models for long-term planning and scenario analysis.
- Strategic Evaluation: Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and business scenarios.
- ERP Administration: Co-administer ERP and reporting tools, ensuring data reconciliation between systems.
Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CFA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in general ledger accounting, budgeting/forecasting, and financial analysis; public accounting or audit experience, or strong GAAP knowledge preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial software applications and modeling.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
