Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The Financial Controller will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, providing strategic financial guidance to management, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguard company assets.
Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors.
Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
