We're currently looking for a Financial Analyst 2 to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong cost background as well as a working financial knowledge in a project environment. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills as well as technical skills that will be utilized in an environment consisting of SAP, Microsoft Office, and other specialized applications. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to be effective in interacting with all levels of management.

We're currently looking for a Financial Analyst 2 to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI.
Job Summary

The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to be effective in interacting with all levels of management.
Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- Perform month end financial statement activities including journal entries in accordance with GAAP and analysis compared to budgets and forecasts
- Provide financial business case support for R&D expense and capital projects.
- Support cost control of expenditures against budget as well as review and approval with the objective of optimizing R&D expenditures.
- Perform financial budgeting and planning activities for R&D division at both a departmental level responsibility and project level.
- Lead cross functional team activities within R&D
- Ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
- Minimum expected requirements are 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree; preferably in accounting or finance
- Self-starter with the ability to function with minimal supervision; ability to prioritize, and complete multiple assignments, able to improve efficiency through process improvements and automation.
