Field Quality Engineer

This role is located in Las Vegas, NV (onsite).

The Field Quality Engineer will be responsible for reviewing data to determine areas of opportunity concerning components and assemblies from post installation opportunities. This role will review, analyze, test, and ultimately determine root cause failure conditions on this material. This data will be then turned into recommendations to be presented to the business for improvements on the company’s field quality post installation opportunities management.

This has been designated as a safety-sensitive job because it involves performing one or more tasks/duties that could reasonably affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task(s) or others.

What You'll Do
  • Quality Expertise: Provides Quality subject-matter-expertise through the product lifecycle, helps establish Critical-to-Quality characteristics, working with Supplier Quality and D&D, supporting customers, as applicable. Also provides:
    • Key design quality inputs/outputs, deliverables, and supplier requirements
    • Establish and maintain quality tools, methods, standards, and visuals
    • Develop and establish quality end of life cycle standards for material
  • Strategic Quality Improvement:
    • Institutionalizing long-term strategic quality post installation opportunities improvement planning
    • Partner with Field Service team to address post Installation quality opportunities
    • Supports Continuous Improvement of ATI product design
    • Monitors and reports on part and or material post installation performance
    • Manage & report on internal/external corrective actions
    • Initiate Supplier Corrective Actions
    • Assist in Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis on post installation opportunities
    • Standardizing End of Life Cycle processes, metrics, and procedures
    • Continuous Improvement of our warranty repair recovery program.

  • Develop strategies and programs, as well as leading projects that improve the productivity and efficiency of the various work processes of the company as it relates to post installation opportunities management.



What We're Looking For

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field and/or experience.
  • 5 or more years of related experience
  • Broad knowledge of Quality Assurance Sciences, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Business Processes.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer, Hands-on application experience in deploying improved Quality Systems internally and externally, Supplier Auditing, Supplier, Design, & Production Quality Engineering.
  • Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Data Systems, MS/Power/BI
  • Working History/Familiarity with electronic design, product manufacturing and associated special processes. (Powder coating, injection molding, welding, machining, metal fab, etc.)
  • History of leadership accomplishments in various organizations/industries
  • Functional knowledge of the gaming, development, manufacturing, and/or technology industries
  • Data Analytics knowledge, generating charts and graphs
  • Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Preferred:
  • Ability to speak multiple languages a plus (Spanish/Chinese)
