The job of an Inventory Specialist involves administration, management and supervision. This is a specialized profile in which an individual is required to multi-task and adjust to the workings of a dynamic environment. This person is also liable to look into all functions while coordinating with internal as well as external sources of the organization.
Duties And Responsibilities
Provide quality assurance/quality control in accordance to company standards.
Make SAFETY the #1 priority by adhering to and enforcing all company safety standards.
Verify third party contractors are qualified to perform scope of work and notify appropriate personnel if contractors are not following company policies and standards.
Maintain a daily log of activities and contractors and make special notes of any incidents that arise.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control.
Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to assure a quality product.
Computer skills for maintaining and analyzing information. Analyze information and using reason to address issues and problems. Requires a high degree of accuracy.
Essential Education And Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
