Farm Manager Needed, NE Indiana

I am working with a farm in Northeastern Indiana to help them find a Farm Manager. This position is a hands-on, in-the-field position. As Farm Manager, you will manage the crops (a row crop), supervise employees, and manage equipment and supplies. This is a professionally run, stable company that uses advanced farming methods.

This Opportunity Is Ideal If You

• Possess mechanical skills and can operate farm and/or heavy equipment.
• Have some ability to repair equipment.
• Have expertise in utilizing pivot irrigation systems.
• Aspire to lead a team.

Farm Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide teams in planting, cultivating, and harvesting diverse crops.
• Maintain and oversee equipment, coordinating personnel and resources across different sites.
• Gather and analyze operational data to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Mentor team members to support their professional and personal development.
• Manage seasonal staff.
• Contribute to recruitment efforts, and perform employee performance evaluations.
• Compile weekly reports.
