Event Producer, Sports

Summary

The Event Producer, Sports will be responsible for managing all aspects of show presentation and event execution of live sports events at Cosm Venues. The Event Producer takes a key ownership role in the run of show planning, and execution of sports events taking place in Cosm Venues. This role works very closely with stakeholders within Cosm Media, Venue Operations, Programming, Technology teams, and external vendors to plan and execute 400+ events per year. The ideal candidate will have experience working in live sports production.

Responsibilities

• Lead run-of-show creation and guest experience journey for sports events in Cosm Venues.
• Collaborate closely with Venue Operations, Production Operations, Content Operations, Venue Operations, and Product to execute seamless events within Cosm Venues
• Orchestrate in real-time camera cutting cadence, score changes, any relevant graphic accompaniment, and other story-telling Cosm tools for highest quality presentation.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance the sports events experience.
• Some travel may be required.
• Lead and bring to life live Cosm sports events from conception to completion.
• Develop and produce engaging sports content that steps beyond conventional coverage.
• Plan and create engaging Live Sports Shows for studio and on-location settings, including research, rundown generation, and graphics pre-building.
• Generate and execute new content ideas while executing existing project plans.
• Perform pre-production, production, and post-production tasks, including both writing, oversee any tape edit requests, and rundown meetings.
• Coordinate and run FAX/Quality Check ahead of live events.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an events producer, line producer, and/or executive producer.
• Proven experience creating compelling events and experiences
• Experience working with live events, managing under pressure, whether sports, concerts, venues, experiential spaces, and events
• Excellent logistics management and forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
  
  

The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 to $140,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
