The Event Operations Coordinator is a sales support role, responsible for supporting any and all of our campaigns participating in alternative sales channels locations, including but not limited to special events, fairs, festivals, sporting activities and amusement parks. Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Primary operations communication person between clients, sales opportunities and field sales. This person will play a part in all aspects of event activities; such as but not limited to event sourcing, logistics gathering and communication, approval coordination, results tracking, managing emerging or unsuspected situations, tracking shipments and ensuring all parties have the equipment they need, etc.
Essential to this role will be the ability to grow and advance, as well as manage through influence with quality, the relationships with clients, the field and venue partners. All while keeping a keen eye on protecting the reputation of our clients, our venue partners, and Cydcor.
Liaising between the client and sales teams for all necessary communications. Depending on the client this may mean a more active generative role, or simply passing communication to the appropriate recipient.
Regular calendar communication – ensuring all parties understand all deadlines for upcoming sales activities, including when shipments will arrive, when events need to be set up and taken down, when sales teams need to arrive, and when reporting needs to happen.
Effective communication – translating between client and the business side, providing updates and adequate follow up to field users, while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor with internal team members, partner vendors, our clients and the field
Direct field support. From time to time this person will need to travel to field offices, event venues and events to perform various duties. Including training, logistics and equipment moving, coaching, and sales support. Some equipment can range in weight up to 25lbs. Travel primarily will be within the US and Canada, but may include other international destinations.
This role requires that the Event Operations Coordinator WOW the customer (field ICL offices) and create an amazing experience from the initial point of contact to the resolution and closing of a case
Results tracking – proficiency in salesforce, excel, and other results platform is essential for this position to be able to monitor results and communicate summaries to the necessary parties.
Other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.

Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
Required Qualifications
Strong organization skills
Customer service experience (phone and email communication)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with event management software is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with varying levels of the organization, project teams, vendors & sales offices
Event activation experience, in sales, brand ambassador, logistics, or other ways
Maintains a positive & professional attitude at all times
A willingness to learn and ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Salesforce/CRM experience a plus!
Bilingual French & English is a strong asset
Working Conditions
The position is hybrid. Candidates must be able to drive into the office 3 days a week. 2 days of the week are remote.
Limited Travel Requirements for position
Candidate will need to be available for EST time zone
