Event Manager

A leading global pharmaceutical company is seeking an Event Manager to join their growing team. The role will combine digital marketing, social media management, and event management for activities such as tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and similar events. The ideal candidate has pharmaceutical/medical device experience. They must be willing to commute near the Bedford, MA area 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute events from inception to completion, tailored to specific requirements, target audiences, and objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between organizers and the local sales team.
• Coordinate the marketing team's creation of event-related materials, including landing pages, registration pages, save-the-date mailers, invitations, programs, LinkedIn posts, and newsletters.
• Proofread marketing materials and seek regulatory approval.
• Manage the upload of materials and images for virtual events.
• Handle logistics for giveaways, brochures, displays, and demo equipment.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance event quality and return on investment.
• Organize speaker invitations, agreements, and pre-approvals in compliance with regulations.
• Set up and test lead capture tools for live events, such as Entergon.
• Organize webinars using in-house tools (e.g., GoToWebinar), including setup, invitations, speaker training, and guidance during the webinar.
• Manage webinars hosted by external companies (e.g., Labroots), including program setup, speaker coordination, regulatory approval of promotional materials, and registration list management.

Qualifications:

• BS in event management, marketing, communications, or business.
• Medical Device experience: regulatory implication experience preferred.
• Proven experience in managing events from planning to execution.
• Administrative and IT skills particularly in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
