The Events Manager is responsible for the overall operational excellence and consultative approach to client programs and events.

Key Areas of Responsibility

·        Management of all vendors required for a program.

·        Consult on behalf of our clients and provide operational solutions, management of vendors, hotel, and budget.

·        Ownership of SOW, additional deposit requests, and final invoicing

·        Upsell services when applicable to increase revenue in addition to ownership of budget to obtain gross profit goals

·        Connect with hotel conference service managers and onsite staff to ensure a seamless partnership for the client between DMC and Hotel

·        Management of Event Staff assigned to a program and proactively prepare staff before a program to ensure consistent communication and operational excellence.

·        Salesforce database management regarding inputting program and vendor information and working with procurement to confirm vendors are vetted and approved.

·        Ensure that KPIs and Key Results are measured and met.

·        Works with clients on full-service events from small to large scale events and takes the lead on specific program assignments.

·        Support the Director of Events with special projects.
