Environmental CAD/GIS Geospatial Analyst

WHM Group, LLC is an environmental consulting firm based out of State College, PA that is seeking an  Environmental CAD/GIS Geospatial Analyst

Responsibilities:

-Under general supervision and direction of senior designers, job responsibilities will include:

- Create detailed maps using ArcGIS and AutoCAD software

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and modify designs based on project requirements.

- Prepare technical plan drawings including stormwater management facilities, and soil erosion and sedimentation control measures utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS Software

- Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards and specifications.

- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback for improvements.

- Assist in the preparation of project documentation

- Maintain a library of GIS, CAD files and drawings for reference.

Skills / Requirements:

- Proficiency in  GIS Mapping software. 

- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d (Preferred)

- Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering , GIS, or Environmental degree (preferred)

- 6 months of experience, which can include academic experience (minimum)

- Strong understanding of environmental principles and drafting/mapping techniques.

- Ability to prepare and revise maps, charts, plans, and spatial information databases.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
