Engineering Manager- $105,000 - $138,000/ year

Job location: Cibolo, TX

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and be responsible for overseeing all engineering operations in our automotive manufacturing plant. The Engineering Manager will need to be knowledgeable in areas such as engineering, production, operations, kaizen, planning, strategy, policies, process, procedure, training, budget, cost, analysis, data, development, design, and safety.

Position Overview: The Engineering Manager will be responsible for effectively managing and leading all engineering operations in the organization. This means leading, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources of engineering teams in order to achieve the desired goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead engineering operations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, plans, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to engineering teams.
• Monitor progress, costs, and performance against established objectives.
• Analyze data and reports to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement process and procedure improvements.
• Oversee the development of new products and services.
• Ensure the health and safety of engineering teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering management.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, processes, and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications
