Engineer II, New Product Introduction
The Engineer II, New Product Introduction will support manufacturing of products for medical devices with work including writing or verifying specifications; maintaining product processes; designing fixtures; and testing processes, equipment, and raw materials to ensure that the subassemblies and finished products meet their requirements
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support existing manufacturing processes, new products, product changes, and enhancements, as well as related tooling and fixtures.
- Support validation of product, equipment, and processes.
- Interface with other departments to solve production problems.
- Monitor equipment maintenance program.
- Investigate and test product processes, NCR’s, DC’s, and EO’s.
- Support prototype and Pilot Production, Facilities, and Planning when appropriate.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The Skills/Experience Needed for the Engineer II, New Product Development
- Bachelor of Science in related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Statistical knowledge.
- Ability to read and prepare technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and process.
- Knowledge of medical and technical development.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, SolidWorks, and Auto Cad.

- Design and development of medical devices.
- Ability to read and prepare technical documentation.
- Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, processes, and medical device manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of medical device and technical development.
- Working knowledge of materials used in the medical device industry.
- Experience from Engineering internship or rotation program preferred.
- One (1) year of Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Green Belt or Black Belt a plus.
