Position Overview

We will count on you to create and oversee our employee relations strategy, ensuring a consistent and fair work environment in line with our company values.

What You'll Be Working On

Duties Include But Not Limited To

  • Design, plan, and implement employee relations programs, policies, and procedures, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations escalations, addressing both employee and manager concerns.
  • Facilitate and provide guidance on performance coaching, performance improvement plans, disciplinary action, and communication.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace concerns, including intake, background research, interviews, summary reports and recommendations based on findings. In collaboration with the Legal team and HRBP.
  • Document, track and maintain employee relations records/database up to date.
  • Collect and leverage data to advise on policy amendment/implementation.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Physical And Travel Requirements

  • This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.

What You Bring

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statues, which govern employment policies and practices.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential situations with objectivity.
  • Strong influencing/consultation skills.
  • Experience leading and managing complex investigations.
  • Proven ability to make judgment calls/problem solving skills and sound, ethical decisions.
  • Previous relevant work experience in a clinical research or healthcare company preferred.

Certifications/Licenses, Education, And Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in employee relations
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Law or advanced degree strongly preferred.
