We are currently recruiting fir a robotics business in Miami, Florida, who are looking for an embedded systems engineer to join their team. This role would suit a candidate who is at home working on both electrical design and firmware development projects, and who is looking for a role where they can use the full range of their skills, whilst working in a mature environment that places emphasis on employee happiness and job satisfaction.
You will be working for a business that already has a number of unique products out in the market, who are generating significant revenue, and who also have a pipeline of new products coming through. You will be working on both upgrade of existing products, and new product development.
The base salary for this role ranges between $160k and $180k, with equity on top, as well as providing comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering of scientific based subject
Comfortable coding in Embedded C and C++
Experience with electrical design, including PCB layout (ideally in Altium), board bring up, and prototyping
Background in lab equipment - working with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators etc
Experience working with motors and/or sensors
EMC/EMI
