Electrical Systems Engineer - Contract Opportunity in an Aerospace Organization
Location: Pennsylvania, US
Strativ is partnered with a global leader, specializing in design, manufacturing, and the support of advanced rotary-wing aircraft to hire an Electrical Systems Engineer within their Airframe systems team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support supplier qualification activities, including environmental and EMI qualification reviews, ensuring system compliance.
Coordinate type documentation substantiation to meet certification standards, address non-compliance issues, and manage test plans/reports.
I'd like you to collaborate with DERs to ensure compliance with technical, programmatic, and certification requirements.
Act as a sustaining engineer for on-site prototypes and production lines, preparing and integrating certification plans and oversight activities.
Conduct electrical testing and analysis for AW609 compliance with certification rules, working with supplier qualification reports.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems installations and aeronautical design, qualification, and certification procedures (preferrably in Aerospace or Semiconductor environments)
Experience in creating and efficiently communicating engineering reports within a diverse and multicultural organization.
Understanding of engineering methodology, tools, and processes.
Effective communication and presentation skills across organizational levels.
FAA certification process experience is a plus.
