We are looking for an experienced Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst with a focus on dental insurance and an in-depth understanding of X12 270/271 dental eligibility transaction sets. This role will be essential to the processing and reporting of dental insurance eligibility data. You will play a critical part in helping us interpret and utilize this data to improve front desk and back office operations at the large dental groups.
Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze EDI X12 270/271 dental eligibility transaction data.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and data partners to establish and maintain EDI transactions.
Troubleshoot any issues related to EDI X12 270/271 transactions by comparing to website, faxback and other offline forms of data.
Work with tech and business teams to enhance the system's capabilities for EDI data transmission and processing.
Develop, test, and maintain EDI documentation.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EDI analysis or related field, with a focus on healthcare or dental insurance.
Expert understanding of EDI X12 270/271 eligibility transaction sets.
Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software.
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Familiarity with HIPAA and other relevant data privacy regulations is highly desirable.
