About the Role


As part of a strong and committed sales team covering the North American market, you will be on the front line of FlexLink's business growth within the region for the new e-commerce division. This position will secure existing customers and develop new customers by selling FlexLink products and solutions, as well as determining best fit paired with best cost solution(s) for the customer’s process or production flow.


In this role, you are expected to:


  • Identify target companies for Business Development initiatives.
  • Working with the Strategic Business Unit Leader to develop a sales plan with strategies and plans for obtaining orders and programs for securing the existing customers.
  • Contribute to implementation of the Group Strategy and development of the local business plan.
  • Ensure a high order intake with targeted margin by implementing the defined sales plan.
  • The day-to-day tasks of conducting sales visits, quotation presentations along with Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) updates, forecasting, registering RFQs in the Sales database, archiving Identify target companies for business development initiatives.
  • Actively participate in the FlexLink North America Sales Engineer’s team to share skills and solutions.
  • Facilitate final discussions with customers that close the sale offers, etc.


What You Need to Be Successful


  • Experience with e-commerce packaging equipment and processes.
  • industry market and customer environment knowledge throughout different territorial regions.

  • ability in developing multi-level contacts with customers and building strong customer relationships.
  • ability in designing and implementing a multi-channel approach to the market.
  • to travel (e.g., 30%-40%) throughout the United States, Mexico, and some parts of Canada.
  • to set own schedule and demonstrate effective time management and follow-up techniques.
  • of strategic business initiatives.
  • to share and communicate experiences for the overall benefit of the company.
  • with the typical regulations, sales methodologies, and cycles of industries supported.
  • years of successful experience in a sales role in a related industry such as conveyors, automation, robotics, logistics solutions, food production equipment, packaging machinery within the e-commerce segment.
  • degree in engineering or other professional development is a plus.
