Position Overview:


The Director of Commercial and Key Accounts plays a critical role in spearheading our sales initiatives for commercial, industrial, and light utility projects. This individual is tasked with developing strategic sales plans and procedures to hit revenue targets and broaden our customer base for our solar solutions. Key responsibilities include formulating sales strategies, nurturing customer relationships, and advocating for our solar solutions to drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Craft and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and objectives in the commercial and industrial (C&I) and light utility sectors.

Identify and develop a network of key customers that benefit from partnering with a U.S.-based solar supply.

Foster and maintain robust relationships with both new and existing clients to understand their needs and offer customized solar solutions.

Lead the establishment and growth of a successful C&I division within the sales team.

Explore new market opportunities and target customer segments to extend our market reach.

Work closely with marketing and product development teams to efficiently launch new products and promotional campaigns.

Utilize sales data, customer feedback, and market trends for informed decision-making and sales strategy refinement.

Provide sales forecasts and budget reports to monitor performance and ensure alignment with financial objectives.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solar products and establish industry connections.

Maintain strict adherence to sales policies, ethical standards, and industry compliance.

Qualifications:


Skills:


Deep knowledge and successful track record in meeting revenue goals within the U.S. solar C&I and Utility markets.

Comprehensive understanding of solar products, technology, and the U.S. C&I market dynamics.

Strong network within the U.S. solar sector.

Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and reporting.

Proven track record in customer relationship management.

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related field—or equivalent experience—is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in U.S. commercial or utility projects or in a senior sales role, ideally within the solar or renewable energy sector.

Compensation and Benefits:


Annual Salary Package:

$130k - $170k (dependent on experience) plus eligibility for bonuses - expected earnings over $500k.
