The Manager/Director of Learning and Development will design and implement corporate training programs aligned with company objectives. They will assess and improve training needs, schedule programs, and communicate their benefits. This role involves managing vendor relationships, overseeing training staff, and ensuring effective use of a Learning Management System for reporting and compliance. Key training areas include regulatory compliance, leadership, and HR topics.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department leaders to outline yearly training schedules for all staff members.
Oversee both internal and external training initiatives.
Conduct continuous evaluations of company-wide training requirements, identifying skill or knowledge deficiencies and devising plans to address them.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure their impact on employee competencies and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Experience and Skills:
7-10 years’ experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
Bachelor’s degree in L&D, Human Resources Management
Proven track record in managing learning and development programs, particularly within the Industrial Materials manufacturing sector
Vendor selection, Budget Management experience
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred
