Director of Foundation Relations

Mitchell Technical College is seeking a Director of Foundation Relations to join the Mitchell Technical College (MTC) Team beginning. The position is open until filled.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible fundraising/development experience with evidence of continued growth in a collegiate or non-profit setting is preferred.
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree, required. Bachelor’s or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Pass a state and federal criminal background check.

The Director Of Foundation Relations Position Will

  • Lead a comprehensive fundraising and engagement program in support of MTC Foundation’s vision, mission, and goals, which includes giving through multiple ways, such as: planned, annual, major events, and alumni activities.
  • Work cooperatively with the MTC Foundation Chair, Committee Chairs/Co-Chair(s) and all Board of Trustees in developing and communicating of meetings & agendas, planning, carrying out events and in all aspects to support the current and future success of the Foundation.
  • Oversee all aspects of the MTC Foundation and Alumni Association services and activities.

Annual Security Report/Campus Security Crime Statistics

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request. Mitchell Tech’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported Clery crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus safety and security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault prevention and response, timely warnings, emergency response, and other matters.
