The Director of Accounting and Finance will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. The Director will report to the CEO and will assist in developing and implementing the company's financial strategy. The Director will also be responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Position Requirements & Experience:
Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s financial strategy
Manage the company's financial planning and analysis
Oversee the company's financial reporting
Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting
Manage the company's risk management
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
Provide financial analysis and guidance to the CEO and other senior executives
Manage The Company's Accounting And Tax Functions
Develop and maintain financial policies, controls and procedures
Manage the company’s outsourced controller and accounting resources
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
CPA or CFA certification preferred
Required Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management position
Thorough knowledge of financial and legal best practices and requirements with a proven ability to provide sound and ethical financial counsel to executive leadership
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience working with a Board of Directors and Employee Stock Ownership Plan preferred
