JOB SUMMARY
Are you a seasoned financial professional ready to make a significant impact? Darke Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc., located in Greenville, Ohio, employer of 18 individuals is in search of a Director of Finance and Administration.
Reporting directly to the General Manager/CEO, this role is pivotal in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Responsibilities include overseeing financial records, accounting services, budgeting, debt management, financial planning, regulatory reporting, cash management, inventory control, and forecasting. Additionally, you will spearhead human resource administration, member services, and office administration.
As a senior staff member, you will actively participate in strategic planning, evaluating, developing, and implementing programs, policies, and processes essential for our cooperative's growth and success.
Darke REC is a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative serving 5,000 electric consumer-members in parts of three counties in midwestern Ohio. With an annual revenue of $18 million and total utility plant of $42 million, we offer a vibrant environment for driven professionals.
EDUCATION LEVEL
Bachelor's (4-year +) Degree
EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance from an accredited university, along with a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity. Experience within an electric distribution cooperative setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
