Design Manufacturing Engineer

Purpose of role:

As a Design Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will play a key part within project teams to define, implement, and ensure the best manufacturing processes are used while adhering to safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Launching assembly equipment
• Planning out capital for new launch projects
• Purchase and implement tooling
• Work closely with various stakeholders such as project managers, business development managers, customers, and suppliers

Candidate Qualifications:

• 5-10 years in a Manufacturing Engineering role within an automotive environment (OEM, Supplier, etc)
• Experience with equipment design and development
• Experience with tasks related to PFMEA.
• Cell layout and integration experience

Preferred experience:

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Controls / PLC programming knowledge
• Plastics injection molding experience
