Aero Manufacturing Co manufacture of equipment for food service industry and healthcare is looking for Mechanical engineer experienced in sheet metal fabrication

Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer Highly proficient in SolidWorks. (specifically sheet metal design) to join them permanently, as a key member of the team

Job responsibilities

Producing detail drawings for manufacturing using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, while contributing to the development of a 3D library for standard items.

Job Duties (include but are not limited to)

Produce drawings in a timely manner and with attention to detail on behalf of the projecting team

Develop 3D library for standard items

Create detailed manufacturing drawings to assist fabrication including general arrangements, part drawings

Review & check detailed design drawings with client specifications

Prepare & check bill of materials

Provide support and input into the preparation of manufacturing work

Personal Qualities And Qualifications Desired

Excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD

A good understanding of 2D CAD packages. AutoCAD is desirable

Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
