Design Automation Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Automation Engineer at Digital Transformation Services LLC located in Brookfield, WI. The Design Automation Engineer will be responsible for the below listed activities:

·         Coordinate with marketing, development and manufacturing teams to develop Product Configuration Guides and business specifications using product’s Electrical and Mechanical structures to ensure Compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.

·         Lead the team of engineers and VC modelers from various geographic locations.

·         Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.

·         Implement new product introduction projects and product enhancements for the HVAC,

·         Industrial and Refrigeration systems using SAP VC Product Configurator.

·         Develop the test plan for End-to-End testing and test the Configurable Products with all the interfaces for CAD Drawings, BOMs and Routings correctness.

·         Understand the technical project requirements, design product

·         Structure in SAP system using Product Configuration tools and develop and test with CAD systems.

·         Operate computer assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks

·         Debug and resolve the configurator related production issues.

·         As an Electrical Engineer all the HAVC and refrigeration system installation and safety requirement have to be approved from the customer.

·         As per the approved layout design will be ensured with the Engineering team

·           Debug and resolve the configurator related production issues.

Bachelor's Degree is required in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD, PRO-E and related design software.
• Experience with SAP PLM, Variant Configuration, CTO and ETO processes.
• Experience with Automated Testing and Data Quality tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
