The Day Services Specialist supports individuals in developing independence, social skills and self-advocacy onsite and in the community; assists individuals in becoming more integrated into their community; and enhances volunteerism and/or job skills. This position provides flexible coverage to fill vacant shifts within assigned group of volunteer/programming sites. Ensures supports provided meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of disabilities required, and at least one year of experience providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities or group health care experience preferred.
Previous experience leading group activities preferred.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
