Scheduling: The position is Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm. This will be a 40-hour week.

Fieldwork

Basic knowledge of running Fiber and experience in data center environments.

Experience in running Fiber under supervision

Explain the concept of redundancy in data center design, (Infrastructure & Reliability) Cabling, Networks, Fiber, and Power.

A+ level of computer knowledge a plus.

Familiarity with racking and stacking equipment (Routers/switches/servers)

Familiar with terminations of 33, 66, 110 blocks up to 300 pair cable

Computer

Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel)

Familiarity with DCIM (cable mgmt. virtual tools) and ticketing tools like ITRACS, and ServiceNow ( ServiceNow preferable)

Education

HS Diploma and/or equivalent degree in Trade or 5+ years' experience
