Onboard with HEAL staff to understand the module framework that has been completed thus far.
Convene faculty to work to develop the full curricula, based on the current module framework.
Partner with CHW and HEAL staff to develop a long-term sustainability plan for the Food Systems training.
Prepare for launch of a pilot training, in partnership with HEAL staff and CHW staff.
Other duties related to CHW food systems training development, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of the emergency food systems programming in Rhode Island (SPAN, WIC, food bank system) required.
Knowledge of community health and health care spaces are also required.
Proficiency in micro soft office suite, specifically word and power point required.
Understanding of platforms used in educational settings, such as google classroom is also preferred.
Education And Experience
Must possess a four-year bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from an accredited college or university.
Registered Dietitian preferred.
Master’s degree in public health with a concentration in food access and nutrition security is also preferred.
