Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop team and oversee accounting functions
• Manage monthly and quarterly close process - budget to actuals, financial reporting review
• Manage internal/external reporting, lender compliance/investor reporting
• Oversee REIT testing and compliance
• Review legal documents for acquisitions and construction
• Support audits, tax returns and ad hoc projects
• Manage business licenses

Required Skills:

• Bachelors Degree, Accounting
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• CPA & public accounting (major plus)
• Residential real estate - Single Family preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP, legal contracts and leases
• Yardi user (preferred)
