POSITION TITLE: Visual Merchandising Coordinator AE Men’s - Corporate

REPORTS TO: Manager of Visual Merchandising – Men’s

Position Summary

With a sense of ownership, support the execution of the visual merchandising floor set process for an assigned merchandising division, for all Mainline and Factory stores. Aid in the development of innovative, industry leading, and brand-right visual merchandising and marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the floor set process for an assigned merchandising division to a scheduled floor set action calendar.
  • Assist Manager of Visual Merchandising in development and execution of seasonal floorsets and assigned merchandising updates as needed in all areas within American Eagle Men’s.
  • Coordinate seasonal floor set builds with the aid of Lab Management team, using initial laydown as a foundation.
  • Partner with marketing and store experience teams to create in-store marketing presence and meaningful customer experience.
  • Provide Lab Team with direction daily.
  • Own all floor set tiering conversions.
  • Own solving to all climate and store group deviations within the floor set.
  • Participate in and Lead WT’s as needed.
  • Own partnering with the Merchant and Testing teams to solve to seasonal product and placement tests.
  • Support store design conversion process as needed.
  • Audit all Floor set communication for accuracy.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Merchant team to ensure teams are updated on seasonal assortment changes and updates.
  • Partner with cross-functional business partners and the Visual Production team to develop weekly communication, seasonal adjustments, and seasonal testing. communication for all formats and store designs.
  • Travel to NY Design Office and stores, as required.
  • Coordinate and implement projects and responsibilities as assigned .

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in retail apparel management or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Design, or related business field preferred.
  • Travel is required, including the potential for international travel.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google, Adobe creative Suites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

Pay/Benefits Information

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
