Controller

TALTRAN Global has been exclusively retained by an established manufacturing company to bring on a high-level Controller. This company stands out as a prominent figure in the manufacturing industry, boasting a well-established history of pioneering advancements and environmentally responsible approaches in order to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual will have the flexibility to work remotely under the guidance of the CFO. They will also enjoy the opportunity to collaborate with an exceptional team and pursue growth opportunities within the company.

The candidate will be a key player in the operational team, and the right candidate will support the overview of different locations. Provide a consolidated view of operations results and communicate, analyze, and challenge the variances between the forecasted and actual results; interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the organization and make specific recommendations that will result in cost reduction and profit improvement.

The Controller bears responsibility for aiding in the company's accounting functions, encompassing the generation of regular financial statements, upkeep of accounting documentation, and implementation of a robust framework of controls and budgets. These measures aim to minimize risk, improve the precision of the company's financial disclosures, and guarantee adherence to generally accepted accounting standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of experience in Accounting
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
• Effective communication and influencing skills
• Detail-Oriented, Team Player, Solid communication skills
• Manufacturing/inventory experience
• Proficient Excel skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Big 4 public accounting experience
• CPA License
