A family-owned feed and fertilizer company in the Pacific North West is seeking their next Controller. The company is extremely family-oriented and they take pride in taking care of their people. They have several employees that have worked with them for 40+ years and enjoy a fantastic company culture.
The position's main responsibilities include month end books, financial statements, accounts payable, payroll, Agris, and bank management. Previous experience with Agris is a must.
The position will be remote-based, with the agreement that you will need to be in the office one day per month to close the monthly books. Your work schedule can be extremely flexible.
This role would be great for a newer accounting professional looking for the next step up, someone more experienced looking to escape the corporate grind, or even a recent retiree. If you are looking for a slower-paced atmosphere where people truly care about you, this may be the role for you.
